This week in New York the debut of the new coupe Pontiac Solstice which sales in the USA will begin in the first quarter of the next year will take place, and the car will exhaust in usual and improved complete set GXP.
The model is based on original concept coupe Solstice, shown in Detroit in 2002, and has a specific body type fastback. The coupe roof fastens at once behind average racks. For those who would wish to take pleasure on a trip in fresh air, in a roof there is a moving section. All design is strengthened by a special aluminium frame.
Rear fenders and the panel of a coupe differ nothing from a cabriolet except that designers had to change an arrangement and the form of tail lights a little.
As well as the roadster, a coupe will receive in a standard variant 4-cylinder engine Ecotec in volume of 2.4 l power of 173 h.p., the GXP-version will be equipped 2-litre turbo with motor Ecotec power of 260 h.p.
